The S15 magazine is a patent-pending, flush-fitting 15 round magazine for the Glock® 43X and Glock® 48. The S15 is a steel magazine, and is the same length as the OEM Glock® 10 round magazine, but holds an additional 5 rounds. Increased Capacity, Same Reliability What changed with the gen 3 magazine? We made the following improvements: New US-based manufacturer Modular tooling, allowing us to make the S15 and S10 magazines simultaneously Raised ribs on the back of the magazine allows us to fully match the OEM magazine position in the mag well, which should eliminate any tolerance stacking that results from Glock frame variations New steel, new coating, new heat treat process - our new steel is slightly thicker, tougher, and now comes with a new standard black nitrocarburized QPQ finish for a high degree of corrosion resistance. Mag Catch Requirement It is required to swap out your plastic OEM mag catch with either our standard steel mag catch or our premium steel mag catch. Here's why. If you don't swap your mag catch you may have reliability issues. If you use another manufacturer's mag catch you may have reliability issues. S15 magazines were designed to work with Shield Arms steel mag catches. - Modulare Werkzeuge, die es uns ermöglichen, die S15 und S10 Magazine gleichzeitig herzustellen
- Erhöhte Rillen auf der Rückseite des Magazins, die eine vollständige Anpassung an die OEM-Magazinposition im Magazinschacht ermöglichen, was Toleranzprobleme aufgrund von Glock-Rahmenvariationen beseitigen sollte
- Neuer Stahl, neue Beschichtung, neuer Wärmebehandlungsprozess – unser neuer Stahl ist etwas dicker, robuster und hat jetzt eine neue standardmäßige schwarze nitrocarburierte QPQ-Oberfläche für einen hohen Korrosionsschutz.
Mag Catch-Anforderung
Es ist erforderlich, deinen Kunststoff-OEM-Mag Catch gegen entweder unseren Standard-Stahl-Mag Catch oder unseren Premium-Stahl-Mag Catch auszutauschen. Hier ist der Grund:
Wenn du deinen Mag Catch nicht austauschst, kannst du auf Zuverlässigkeitsprobleme stoßen. Wenn du einen Mag Catch eines anderen Herstellers verwendest, kannst du ebenfalls auf Zuverlässigkeitsprobleme stoßen. Die S15 Magazine wurden entwickelt, um mit den Stahl-Mag Catchs von Shield Arms zu funktionieren.
