Quick and easy install literally takes about 5 minutes if that. Huge improvement from factory trigger. Super light, super crisp, and basically no over travel. If you want an inexpensive easy trigger upgrade look no further!

I am a new "Rugie" 10/22 Takedown owner and bought this after shooting the stock trigger. Wow, what a significant improvement! Easy replacement and what a great investment return: clean and crisp as the trigger should be on any 10/22. I highly recommend this item. Do not be intimidated with the mechanics as Ruger and Brownells have excellent videos to review and it will instill confidence before the simple smithing work is done.

I debated purchasing this trigger over a Kidd and decided to give it a shot. A lot of forums trashed this trigger, remarking the pull is closer to 3-4 lbs and a host of other issues. Out of the box, mine pulled at 2lbs 4oz. Not too shabby. After a quick polishing, it dropped to under 2. The stock one it replaced sat at 5 1/2 lbs. This is a vast improvement over the stock one. I would have a difficult time justifying to myself something that cost 2-3 times of this one.

I think we can all agree that the stock 10/22 trigger is trash, but then the question becomes: what now? Based on the low price point vs other drop-in trigger groups or even a Volquartsen upgrade kit, I chose to try the BX, figuring that I could always go Volquartsen or Kidd later if it didn't work out. I will not need to change this trigger group out - the pull feels close to 2.5 lbs., which is where my CZ 452 breaks, with little slack and almost no creep. This particular 10/22 is a pure plinker for taking new shooters out, but if I swapped out the red dot for a low-power scope, I'd be confident in my ability to make humane kill shots in the field on small game. Unless you're seeking the ultimate in accuracy, I recommend giving this trigger a try - only the most serious shooters will be able to appreciate the marginally better options out there, and those come with a significant cost. Personally, I recommend taking the first $100 you save and putting it towards a better optic, then taking the other $100 and taking whoever you angered by buying another rifle out to a nice dinner. :)

Takes only a couple minutes to install. Turns a reasonably accurate rifle into a very accurate rifle. Great value.

My wife has arthritis and has trouble with heavy triggers. This one makes it easy for her to shoot her 1022. I also really like it for target shooting and small game hunting.

This is an OUTSTANDING trigger and several eshelons above the trigger that comes on the rifle. The stock trigger was about 5.5-6.0 pounds with creep. This trigger is 2.5-3.0 and breaks like glass. I was amazed three years ago when I bought this 10/22 how accurate it was as it shoots one ragged hole at 50 yards. With this trigger I fully expect that hole will only get smaller as creep is now completely eliminated and delivery time is significantly shortened. Installation is quick and easy: 1: Unscrew the bottom stock screw. 2 Remove the barrel band (if your rifle has one) 3. Pop the barrel and action out of the stock. 4. Dive out two pins that hold the trigger to the barrel/action. 5. Insert the new trigger and reverse the above process. You need a screwdriver, a small drift pin, small hammer. That's it... YOU WILL LOVE THIS TRIGGER!!!

Put this on a 10/22 that is about 25 years old. Fit was perfect and installed easy. Measured trigger pull at 2¼ lbs, a bit light for hunting, but great for target or competitive shooting. Tried it out and dropped a crow at 75yds - one shot!

I have several Marlin 60s and several Ruger 10/22s. I could shoot tighter groups with the Marlin 60s because of the better trigger. I have always wanted to upgrade my trigger, but all the good aftermarket triggers for the 10/22 cost almost as much as the gun. Ruger has solve the problem by offering this superb trigger...Now, I can shoot groups at 50 yards that I can cover with a quarter. Light trigger, crisp break, short reset.....PERFECT!

Of course Brownells has the best price too!

If you have considered really upgrading the trigger on your Ruger 10/22 or Ruger Charger, and want to do so within a reasonable expense, the Ruger BX-Trigger is a wise choice. With simple tools and a basic knowledge of your 10/22 (or Charger), it is very simple to install and satisfaction is guaranteed.

No slack, no over-travel, no creep. Crisp, light (3.5 lbs) and installation is a snap. I am going to put one in each 10/22 that I have. Excellent value.
