It’s fun, for sure, but it also has more practicality than meets the eye. The Axe has the same 5-round capacity of 2 ½” shells as its larger Lever Action .410 Shotgun counterparts, and the addition of a loading gate means that you can keep that capacity topped off at all times without needing to remove a tube magazine. Another practical advantage is its size. With a barrel length of just under 16” and an overall length of just over 26” the Axe can be stored in far more places than your average shotgun. The barrel is topped off with a brass bead front sight and the muzzle end is internally threaded for invector style chokes. A full choke is included right out of the box, and additional chokes are available on HenryPride.com. The “axe handle” pistol grip gives the firearm its name and is engraved on the bottom with the iconic Henry Cowboy logo for that unmistakable touch of Henry class. Speaking of Henry class, the Axe .410 is available in 2 iconic finishes – hardened brass and matte blued steel.

Die Axe hat dieselbe Kapazität von 5 Patronen der 2 ½”-Schrotflintenpatronen wie ihre größeren Lever Action .410 Shotgun-Pendants und die Zugabe einer Ladeklappe bedeutet, dass du die Kapazität jederzeit auffüllen kannst, ohne ein Rohrmagazin entfernen zu müssen. Ein weiterer praktischer Vorteil ist die Größe. Mit einer Lauflänge von knapp unter 16” und einer Gesamtlänge von etwas über 26” kann die Axe an weit mehr Orten verstaut werden als deine durchschnittliche Schrotflinte. Der Lauf ist mit einem Messingkorn als Visierung abgeschlossen und das Laufende ist innen für Invector-Style Chokes Gewinde geschnitten. Ein Full Choke ist direkt ab Werk enthalten und zusätzliche Chokes sind auf HenryPride.com verfügbar. Der „Axtgriff“-Pistolengriff gibt der Waffe ihren Namen und ist unten mit dem ikonischen Henry Cowboy-Logo graviert, für diese unverkennbare Note von Henry-Klasse. Apropos Henry-Klasse, die Axe .410 ist in 2 ikonischen Ausführungen erhältlich – gehärtetes Messing und matt gebläuter Stahl.
