I was real impressed with the fit and finish of this slide, it assembled easy with Glock upper parts kit and went on my Glock gen 3 lower no problrms but for some reason this slide won’t fit on my Polymer80 Glock 19 lower. I have no issues with the Glock gen 3 slide or Swenson Glock 19 slide on the polymer 80 lower either. So if you are looking at this slide for your polymer 80 build I wouldn’t recommend this slide.

This is a well working decent looking slide. I got the Glock 17 gen 3 with rmr cut and top window cut. IT DOES NOT ACCEPT GLOCK MOS ADAPTER PLATES! So the vortex venom I got WILL NOT work with this. :( but otherwise I’m pretty happy with it.

Looks good works well. Needed to order a channel sleeve. My unit did not come with one. Had a little trouble installing the channel sleeve... very tight.. Cleaned channel with some alcohol and buffed sleeve slightly with some fine sandpaper .. Installed easily with Brownells tool . Installed all new internal parts throughout ..

Tested with Glock, Lone wolf ,,P80 ver1 and

ver 2, frames .. all check out ok..Recommended buy.

Suggest bow tie slide racker for cool look.

Slide is tight no wobble looks great on my gun and went together like a dream only thing I noticed I would like to bring up is that before installing the channel liner you need to take a qtip with Alcohol and clean the channel befor installing channel liner I crushed the first channel liner than cleaned it real good and it slid right into place second try would definitely recommend

A great slide with nice, no nonsense features at a great price. All the parts swapped over easily without any issues. The chamfered edges are even and pleasing to the eye. The front and rear serrations are sharp and add more grip, but not overly aggressive. The black nitride coating was even and I didn't see any machining marks on the slide.

Received my slide fit and finish were excellent. I used a Wolf Barrel 9mm and had no fitting issues. I also used the Glock 19 slide kit Brownells sells. All parts were first class.

ONE NOTE: The Brownells description states that the slide does not come with a Channel Liner, Mine did. I am not sure if the manufacturer is now installing them upfront. But anyway the kit includes a channel liner so you are covered both ways.

I also bought one of the Swenson 9mm threaded Glock 19 barrels that xxx is selling this month for $99.99. It also worked like a charm

This slide looks awesome! For the price you absolutely can’t beat it. I only have one issue with it which is the extractor plunger hole is way too tight. I read some other reviews and saw a couple people had the same issue but it sounds like a little sandpaper will fix that. Otherwise I’m very impressed. The serrations are deep and pretty sharp. Definitely sharper than on the OEM slides but it’s not an issue. I really like the top cut as well.

purchased this slide with window and Brownells barrel to build polymer 80; also got a Suarez slide ( not Brownells source) . I am very pleased with fit ; finish and function of the Brownells esp vs the competition; this slide and barrel work great and function equally great. For price and quality I would chose the Brownells components over Suarez. the competition is excellent but at 600$ vs approx 300 for this slide and barrel ; hands down better. No rust no finish issues and flawless in function. Would be outstanding if Brownells offered a combo package with sights and barrell

The slide arrived in the mail and immediately after unwrapping I saw the finish defect. There was a large discoloration around the ejector. I have a G17 RMR slide from Brownells that is much nicer with a uniform finish and has functioned well with over 1000 rounds so far. Brownells was happy to take it back but the hassle of laying out $ for another one then returning the original one and having to wait for the refund. As far as the fitment goes it is perfect I still give it 3 stars because of my experience with the other slide. Also, you DO need a channel liner with these, I know there is some questions on that.

Don’t hesitate guys/Gals, if you’re building a P80? YOU CAN’T GO WRONG WITH THESE BROWNELLS GEN 3 SLIDES. I’ve gotten FOUR so far. Two G17 standard iron sight slides , One G19 standard slide and have one G19 standard slide with the window on the way!

I’ve had NO ISSUES with ANY OF THEM! Bought the Brownells/Victory First barrels with them, and they work PERFECTLY with these slides. They drop right in snuggly with NO FITTING ISSUES!

Like I said I’ve gotten 3 builds under the belt. With these slides on ALL, with ZERO ISSUES. Just put them together and put them on your frame and BAM! You’ve got a PERFECTLY FUNCTIONING PISTOL!

And YES GUYS/GALS you DO NEED a CHANNEL LINER. They fit a little snug , so I REALLY RECOMMEND A CHANNEL LINER INSTALLATION TOOL!

So I can tell you now unless you want to pay $400-$900 for a “Name Brand” slide, GO WITH THESE, you WON’T regret it, I PROMISE!

Again the Brownells victory first barrels work great with these slides. And they’re all GREAT QUALITY!

Bought this slide for my P80 build after a lot of consideration and watching/reading several reviews. It looks great with the window cut and has a good finish. I had no issues assembling the slide, mating the slide with the frame, and no issue with it going into battery. Admittedly all of the issues related to my build laid solely to the frame. I know this may vary by slide and internal parts used. I used a Shadow Systems slide completion kit, Ameriglo Hackathorn sights, ATI Barrel, and Glock OEM guide rod/spring. I fortunately did not have to fit any parts. Initially I used a Lone Wolf steel guide rod but found I got better groups with the OEM.

I ordered this to top off my P80 full size, and it works PERFECTLY. All standard Glock parts went right in. The channel liner is a little snug but it does fit. It takes a little finagling to get it started. But it does fit. So get a liner tool and don’t give up.

Other than that it’s PERFECT! Fit and function is great.

Finished slide assembly, lubed the rails, slid it on my V2 P80, racked it, slid back and forth the way it should, went out and loaded it, pulled the trigger and BOOM! Pulled the trigger again and BOOM! and AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and about 100 more times. No Cycling issues no firing issues no ejecting issues. Absolutely AWESOME!

So for the money $164.99 on sale, you CANT beat it!

So what are you waiting for? Pull the trigger on this slide already, you WONT REGRET IT! I don’t and I just bought another.

So you better hurry before these say “OUT OF STOCK” or they go back to normal price!

Really digging this slide. Seems really well made, I just finished fitting it to my pf940c frame with only minor fitting to get it gliding like butter. Time will tell how it performs hopefully I can make it out to shoot next weekend but very impressed so far. For almost half the price of most other slides on the market you can't beat it!



The serrations are pretty sharp, I had to put on a glove after racking it a couple hundred times.

I was skeptical about this slide after reading a few of the other reviews, but it was the best price on a stripped Glock slide that I was able to find, so I went for it anyway.

Used it to finish my Polymer80 build today and I've had zero issues. The finish is even and looks great, all of the edges are clean, serrations are sharp in a good way, there are no tool marks that I was able to see anywhere on the piece.

The slide, as mentioned, does not come with a channel liner installed, and fits a correctly beveled channel liner like a glove. All of the components I used fit in fine (the sights required fitting) and the slide locks up tight every time.

The window also looks great with a stainless barrel underneath.

Good solid piece for the price, no complaints.

Great slide with no milling marks, great finish, and nice serrations. The only thing is, they don't mention about the striker channel liner, so I ordered one, only to find out that there is either one installed already, or it is machined to not need one. Not sure which and the chat help was no help in finding out.

good looking slide, but extractor/plunger hole is way too tight, had to sand paper it out to work properly. so was the striker channel, then stock hight Glock sights don't work, because the gun will shoot 6 inches low at 10 yards. Also since this slide doesn't have rounded edges like OEM slide, it won't fit in any kydex holsters I have, and I got 4 of those.



long story short, I'm sending it back

I recently decided to build a glock 26L by chopping a 19 frame and then topping it off with this slide. I wanted to do this since i have carried my 26 in 19 holsters for a long time and decided this would be a the best option. I recieved this slide in, and to my surprise there was already a channel liner in it. My local shops gunsmith brought it out to me and they were just as confused as me. But I assembled it and first thing to note was the striker block was an extremely tight fit and struggled to work at first. A little sand paper would likely fix that. Nonetheless i finished assembly and put it on the frame an due to the very boxy edges it does not fit in any of my kydex holsters. I have tried 3 brands both inside and outside the waistband. I will try loosening them some more but this one will most likely have to be returned. All that aside, seems to be a quality made slide and you wont beat the price.

I purchased this slide to top off a Polymer80 lower build. The fit and finish of the slide is excellent. The slide takes all of the original slide internals and the stock Glock night sights fit like a glove. The front and rear serrations provide for a secure way to manipulate the slide with no slipping of the hand when hot, cold, wet or dry,.

I have only one slight problem with the slide. When attaching the Glock front sight, the relief machined for the front sight screw was not enough to snug the screw down properly using a standard

or even with a thin walled driver. I sent Brownell's a picture and recommended they cut a little more radius.



I am pleased with my choice of slide and will be making another purchase for my Glock 19
