Faxon’s 7.62x39 Gunner Profile Barrel matches their Government barrel profile from the breech to the gas block, then tapers shifts to a lightweight pencil profile for weight savings that won’t compromise accuracy. Removing weight from the front of the 7.62x39 Gunner Profile Barrel ensures enhances your rifle’s maneuverability, while extra metal at the rear maximizes heat resistance and diminishes barrel "whip". The result is a balanced, mobile, and maneuverable barrel that can handle full-auto fire and is suppressor rated. Chambered for Type 1 or .125" bolt face depth Conventionally rifled with 1-8" twist 5/8"-24 tpi muzzle threads 11° target crowned muzzle Magnetic particle inspected to ensure quality control Available in 10.5" length with gas port for carbine gas tube and 16" length configured for mid-length tube Machined from 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium carbon steel, the Faxon Firearms 7.62x39 Gunner Profile Barrel is button rifled with a nitride finish for corrosion resistance.
