Angled front faces on the AFTERBURNER aid in holstering. The INTRA-LOK® mounting system uses the taper lock principle; a tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel. This perfectly times the compensator as it locks down onto the upper barrel profile on the muzzle end of the barrel. INTRA-LOK® allows the user to simply slide the compensator over the barrel, insert and tighten the locking screw, making for a simple and repeatable installation process. This system allows the user to easily remove the barrel from the slide for cleaning. Das fadenlose Laufdesign ermöglicht eine mühelose Montage und Demontage zur Reinigung, während es RECHTLICH FÜR DEN VERKAUF IN ALLEN 50 BUNDESSTAATEN* zugelassen ist.
Der AFTERBURNER™ Kompensator wird aus rostfreiem Stahl gefertigt, während der RAMJET™ Lauf aus gehärtetem 416R SS besteht; beide sind mit einer Radianite™ Beschichtung verstärkt. Diese Kombination sorgt für geringe Reibung, hohe Härte und hohe Korrosionsbeständigkeit, wodurch die Gesamtbeständigkeit und Erosion durch Mündungsfeuer kein Problem darstellen.

Das INTRA-LOK® Montagesystem verwendet das Taper-Lock-Prinzip; eine konische Schraube greift in eine geneigte V-Nut auf der Unterseite des Laufs. Dies sorgt dafür, dass der Kompensator perfekt auf das obere Laufprofil am Mündungsende des Laufs ausgerichtet ist.
Mit INTRA-LOK® kannst du den Kompensator einfach über den Lauf schieben, die Schraube einsetzen und festziehen, was einen einfachen und wiederholbaren Installationsprozess ermöglicht. Dieses System erlaubt es dir, den Lauf problemlos vom Schlitten zu entfernen, um ihn zu reinigen.
