The Brownells LSS Gen2 Pistol Chassis provides a lightweight, versatile platform that helps you wring every bit of accuracy potential out of your rifle. Built exclusively for Brownells by Modular Driven Technologies - MDT - our version of the LSS is ready for you to drop in a barreled action and build a precision pistol customized to your shooting needs. Each Brownells LSS Gen2 Pistol Chassis is machined from lightweight yet strong, extremely rigid, 6061 T6 aluminum and given a tough, non-reflective black Cerakote® finish. The receiver makes contact only with the V-shaped bedding block and recoil lug area on the chassis. This virtually eliminates the accuracy-compromising pressure a traditional stock can exert on the barrel. The flat-bottomed forend has a wide barrel channel, ensuring there's plenty of room to free-float the barrel, even heavy target or bull barrels up to 1" O.D. Rows of M-LOK® slots on the sides and bottom of the forend provide plenty of accessory mounting options for the LSS Gen2. An Uncle Mike's sling swivel stud is installed on the underside for easy mounting of a bipod. The integrated barricade-stop grooves ahead of magazine well allow you to brace against any solid surface for even more support.
