Excellent product!(18.11.2011)
I installed a set of Wolff springs in my Uberti Cattleman, then installed this set of Lee Gunslinger springs. I wanted to see which I liked the best. The Lee Gunslinger springs are much better in my humble opinion; noticeably easier cocking and also more consistent hammer resistance throughout its arc of travel while cocking. The Lee Gunslinger springs are my choice. I did have to use my Dremel tool to grind a small bit of metal off of the end of the spring at the hammer end for the spring to work well without binding up, but that was very minor work and the end result is a spring that I consider superior to the Wolff spring.
Works with Pietta guns(30.11.2013)
I bought this kit and installed it in a Pietta 1873 it made the hammer real easy to work and the trigger pull was dropped by 1 lbs, I bought a Pietta 1851 navy cap and ball revolver and found out it had the same hammer spring in it as the 1873 so I got another kit for it, now both of them are much better.
too light(04.02.2014)
The spring is too light. It miss fires, even with Federal primers. I have two Uberti .45LC 1873 SAA.
