Each Wilson Combat AR .308 Handguard is CNC-machined from strong 6005A-T5 aluminum and features a mil-spec, hard-anodized finish. To attach the handguard to a compatible upper receiver, the unit ships with an oversized barrel nut machined from 4130 steel and treated with a nitrocarburized finish. M-LOK attachment slots are machined at 3-, 6- and 9-o'clock positions around the circumference of the handguard, enabling easy accessory mounting. The inside diameter of the Wilson Combat AR .308 handguard measures 1.47 inches, making it compatible with most low-profile gas blocks on the market today. Handguard installation takes five minutes using common hand tools, and the overall weight of the handguard is 11.4 ounces, while the length measures in at 10.6 ounces.
